SESC
This project arises from the careful integration of human needs with nature, aiming to ensure that both are met in a harmonious and balanced manner.
The project's configuration is outlined by the representation of the natural terrain's curves, allowing the building to be seamlessly integrated into the natural slope of the land, creating a perfect immersion. This approach provides individuals with the opportunity to move from the sidewalk level to the green rooftop of the building smoothly, as if they were traversing the natural terrain itself, without any visible interventions.
The core of the project, delineated by the natural terrain's curves, serves as a central space that functions as the main pedestrian circulation area. This circuit, along with the rest of the project, is richly adorned with vegetation, water features, vertical greenery elements, planters, and other vegetal species. In addition to connecting all parts of the development, the sidewalks serve as a plaza and a social gathering place.
Furthermore, the playful element of water, present throughout the project, takes on an organic form reminiscent of a lake or river, enhancing the sense of tranquility and connection with nature.

What is SESC?
The Social Service of Commerce is a Brazilian private, non-profit institution whose objective is to promote social well-being and quality of life for workers in the commerce of goods, services, and tourism, as well as for their families and the community at large. It offers a wide range of services in areas such as culture, education, health, leisure, sports, and social assistance, through its units spread throughout Brazil.
What does SESC offer?
These units generally include theaters, cultural centers, sports facilities, libraries, health units, restaurants, heated semi-Olympic swimming pools, sports courts, rooms for handicraft workshops and free use, among others. Additionally, they offer a variety of activities and programs for different age groups and interests.
SESC plays an important role in promoting social inclusion, cultural dissemination, and community development.
